
DRIP MACHINE BREW GUIDE
Below is our 5 step guide to brewing the perfect cup of coffee using a drip machine.
1. MEASURE COFFEE GROUNDS
Start by measuring your coffee grounds. For a standard 8-ounce cup of coffee, use about 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds.
2. GRIND SIZE
For drip machines, a medium grind size is ideal. Aim for a texture resembling granulated sugar or sea salt.
3. WATER-TO-GROUND RATIO
The recommended water-to-coffee ratio is typically 1:15 or 1:16. This means for every 1 gram of coffee grounds, use 15-16 grams of water. Adjust according to your taste preferences.
4. PREPARE MACHINE
Fill the water reservoir of your drip machine with fresh, cold water. Place a clean filter in the basket and add the measured coffee grounds.
5. BREW
Start the drip machine and allow it to brew. The brewing process should take about 5-6 minutes. Once brewed, serve and enjoy your perfectly brewed cup of coffee.
